I need a pet with 60 agility and 60 intelligence to build the astrologist along with what I am already collecting(quartz, ore, and adamantine) I have pets with 60 agility and pets with 60 intelligence but not pets with 60 of both. Should I wait for some of my 60 intelligence pets and 60 agility pets(or close to it) to become descendant's of heroes so that they can breed and give that pet genetic power and then wait for 3 days or what?

Also, is there any way to know the stats of a pet at the pound without adopting it?

There is no way to know the stats of a pet in the pound, all you know about them is their name, level, gender, and species.
