When I click the + next to the search the list of additional options for search comes up.
If I tick a type of species and search, it shows only one pet, regardless of how many there are actually in the auction.
Ticking several types of species leads to only one pet showing up. - not one per specie, but just 1.

In case if you think that the other pets dont show up because they dont have 1 gene researched as chosen in + search, thats not the reason.
Here are the screenshots of a roc that shows up in the search narrowed down to Rocs. It doesnt have any genes discovered, same as the other roc which can be seen from the normal search, but doesnt show up in + search.

Did the same thing to me earlier when I was looking for a cockatrice.

yeah, I checked and it did that to all species.
