I'm new so I may not know exactly what's going on, but I thought you had to breed pets for them to have babies. My puma just had a baby and is pregnant again, but I didn't breed her. Do they do that sort of thing on their own?

There are 2-3 ways a pet can get pregnant.

1. You, yourself, breed to pet.

2. Accepting the Egg Shrine program -- From exporing the Desert.

3. Other players offer to breed with your pet, for w/e reason. -- Well get a message asking if you want to accept or not.

Thanks! Must have been the egg shrine then because it wasn't the other two. Btw, baby number 2 has better stats than baby 1, lol.
