How are people managing the tundra right now, especially the newer people (or people like me who played and then dissapeared for a few years xD) the prices in the shops for both the blueprints and components are astoundingly high, and those pets like the lightning roc don't sound that easy to come by either.

Perhaps someone wants to share tips and tricks? Both to earning the silver needed for those schemes and finding just the right kind of pet!

Thanks!

If you have pets that fulfil lots of quests (some can be found in the pound, like pure black pumas or striped black dragons) then that's the best way to earn silver.

Really it's just grinding. I always find time to do quests, and fulfil most these days (half my stable are just for questing) so I have about 500,000 silver. Although I just bought three deviant unicorns. These events are so expensive but you end up with really cool beasts. It took me ages to breed a roc that can call lightning, so I feel your pain ;)

Hmm, lots of questing and grinding then, got it and thanks :) I guess there's always just so much info to balance on this site - stats and genes and whatnot - that it always kind of overwhelms me and this  is no exception! I'll do my best then, and hopefully see what I can find by the end of the event~ That new pet sure looks pretty!

If I may ask, which genes are required for a roc to shoot lightning?

Thanks so much!

To have the lightning strike ability, you need dominant electric gland and steel beak genes.

I often have some good pets in my Pound/Giveaways tab.  Feel free to ask for one of them.
