Hi!  I  see a tab in my inventory for quest items, but the quests I see never ask for items, only pets with specific stats/abilities, colors, etc...  So I'm confused about what quest items are, where you get them and what type of quests they are used for.

Quest items are special items only used during special events, where usually you can obtain pets that you would not otherwise get. For example one of the last events was one where we could make a Kami called Carpo stay in our stable. There were a LOT of things we had to do, but among them, we had to go explore islands and find special items that you usually don't find there. Those were stored in the Quest Items tab.

It might be of note, I still have event items from past events in my inventory, they don't vanish - however, they don't take up space so it doesn't really matter.
