One pet can go on multiple quests if you accept them on different tabs.
I was testing something with this pet and it's now stuck with the "on quest" status even though there's nothing under effects. This happens similar to the multiple quests bug. If you accept a quest with Pet 1 and then on another tab you accept the same quest with Pet 2, the payout won't be doubled but Pet 2 will be the one on the quest.
Retching mongrels get the leash.
