I have 100 Doom pumpkins and 2 hell pumpkins but when I try to buy a hell drake I get an error saying I can't afford the purchase?
Do I just have the wrong pumpkins?

You need 100 Hell Pumpkins (the ones glowing yellow) to purchase a Hell Drake. Doom Pumpkins are the currency for Doom Drake only.
