Hi,
I've been looking through recipies and forum threats, but I can't seem to find what shells are being used for.
Do they have any use? Is it worth collecting them or do they just clutter your warehouse?

Shells are required in the construction of a couple items but, in my experience, they're mostly just clutter.
Mantle - 50 shells
Carpet - 50 shells
Banner - 50 shells
All of these recipes make an item that is made of fabric so the shells in them are likely used to make dye (not that that matters in any way).

Those items are in turn required to make several buildings.
Mantle for lvl 4 townhall
Banner for lvl 2 and 3 military academy
Carpet for embassy
Breeder of trash deviants
