I just bought a new pet from the Pet Trades page by using his buyout.  His name is comanche, and he is pet number 645576.   His status says that he's still in trades, and no matter how many times I press the button to cancel it, it still says that he's in trades.  I really don't want to lose this unicorn.  I bought a young throdama at the same time, and am not having the same trouble with him.

It would be easier to show this to you if I could have linked to his page, hopefully, the information I've provided is enough.

I see that the problem is resolved now, but it is likely because there is some time after the auction where the system is processing and the pet will be delivered a bit after the auction has ended.... Was this your problem? I am posting in the event that other users may experience the same issue and wonder what is happening. :)

I'm not sure.  He appeared right there in my stable, just like the throdama did.  But his status was "In Trade", and I couldn't do anything with him.

Most likely the trade got at the most highly loaded time - the time of the daily reset. Individual pets are processed only after the server-wide tasks are finished, this usually takes up to 30 minutes and may call a lag with updating statuses, energy, births, growing up etc. We're very sorry for the inconvenience.

Ohhhh.  Well, I was only worried at the time that I'd lose the pet.  Now, I'm such a nerd that I'm happy just knowing why the thing worked the way it did.  Thanks for taking the time to respond.  I have to say, so far this has been the least stressful pet sim that I've ever tried to play.  Yeah, I know that wording sounds strange.
