Do you earn more XP for defeating pets that have a higher level than your pet?

The higher the pet you defeat's level is the more XP you get for beating it. You are only able to fight pets up to 5 levels higher than yours and 5 levels lower. However, from my experience, it's better to fight pets you're sure you can beat rather than trying to get a few extra XP per battle against a stronger pet you may lose against.

I had made a list indicating the value of exp you gain for beating a pet of said level, https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1zitdrEvtuVTHkfxFM0IZXZ3phUL1P8AY1BmAtqKw2q8/edit#gid=0 -- so, dependings on the level of the pet :P, anyways it's, overall, best if you fight pets that you know you can beat, as you don't gain exp for being beat or for a tie.
