Sometimes in real life I'll find myself thinking about my pets, Like what they would be doing right now, or how they spend their spare time... Then I realize this is just a fantasy game and they're all just chilling in their groups..waiting for me to take them exploring, or go on a quest, or battle some other pets.

I think about all my virtual pets that way, but I'm a role player from the paper and dice era so for me that's " normal ".      Each of them has a personality for me , just like RL animals and pepole. Dusa is snapy and over protective , gorgan is quiet and resreved grayteeth is a bit dumb but loveable wile joker is a bit of a jerk to name a few.

I love thinking about the mundane suburban world I live in filled with fantasy creatures. Like when my nahbors dog barks I think "keep it up little bark bark my cockatraice is going to eat you heh heh".  Or theres a loud party a 1:00 in the morning "hummm...maybe a puma roar would quiet that down". Rinding the bus or rinding a dragon ... I'll be takeing the dragon to the store thank you.

I'm allso found of thinking about the in game cannon too. I play on 4 other pet sites ,each has a differnt cannon so I wonder about my space ship lab on felis fire , my grotto cave in waja's univers , my farm of raptors on exibited and my biomes in aywas.

I think it's just more fun to let yourself dream wile your awake sometimes ( ok most of the time for me) it beats worring about what the stock market is doing at the moment. :P
