So in the great library of genes and skins under the Help tab, there's a column telling us about the frequency of each particular trait. I was wondering, does this apply only to your chances of getting these traits in a wild beast, or does this have any bearing at all on how likely a pet will inherit these traits from parents? 

To my knowledge, it only applies to wild pets, as the child's gene is one set from each parent.
