Are the monsters supposed to be able to heal? If so, is that some sort of special ability that pets can also have?
I recently ran into an island monster that was recovering hitpoints on every turn. I have a couple of screencaps, but I'm not sure how to attach them.
I often have some good pets in my Pound/Giveaways tab. Feel free to ask for one of them.

that monster probably had regeneration ability. unicorns, symurghs, and cockatrice can also do the same with the regeneration genes.

Ah, I guess that makes sense. It was confusing because the hitpoints were just mysteriously appearing, there wasn't a message like there is for other special abilities.

Maybe it would be useful, if there was a message for that. Like: "Foe healed 10HP (regen)".
Do you think it would make sense to post this as a suggestion?
