It doesn't seem like my triggers are processing correctly. Or maybe I'm missing something? I set them late yesterday and was quite tired- So that is a possibility. So far I have gotten four emails with sales pets "meeting" my needs. All these pets have the genes that I set the trigger for... However not as dominant or homozygous like I requested. Am I misinterpreting what Homozygous means on the search? Should I check the gene twice to get what I want

Also, I have a suggestion for Triggers. While they are wonderful and I love them, is it possible to see which Trigger is being triggered when an email is generated? Either in the email itself or maybe as a drop down on the Triggers on their page. This the the first time I have really used it for a serious project. Normally I just browse the sales. But I'd like to save more time and such, so these have been so useful! Well... when they work.

^ This one seems to have worked. It appeared just after I made this post. Way out of my price range... but it worked. 

Will there be an option to set a price range for the triggers? 

For me the triggers always go to email and not to messages even when I am on. Kind of annoying.

That's weird, it's using the same code that is used for pet search... But according to screenshots it looks like it ignores settings to look only for dominant genes, and pushes everything that has the target gene despite it's being recessive. We're trying to figure out why this happens. Thank you for reporting and sorry for the inconvenience.

Liandralithe, do you have trigger messages enabled in your account settings? Also just in case, online status persists for 15 minutes from the last page refresh, then it falls to offline.

No problem! I figured it would have been the same as the pet search- which is why I was confused! I'll keep the triggers on for when they begin working again. I don't want to miss out. 

Is it possible to tell if any pets meeting this "criteria" has slipped through? I've been trying to search the sales but I think that the triggers did not leave anything out. That may help rule something out at least. 

Hmm, I'm not sure I've gotten an on site notification for a trigger before. I am on and offline so much on various devices, so that may be why!

for the trigger settings, do you mean auction notification? i checked my account settings but didn't see anything labeled triggers. also, is "email notifications" referring to game email or personal email? i always assumed personal so never clicked anything there.

Nightingale, I don't think that it missed any pets with chosen genes. It looks for genes without problems, the issue is dominance setting.

Liandralithe, you're right, it's referring to personal emails. And I just figured out that we have nothing mentioned about the triggers in the option that actually enables their sending to email, it's called just "Auction notification" at this moment. But you somehow guessed it right :) Yes, I was asking about it to have the full info for debug.

We're still working on both trigger issues, there are really some bugs in there.

Genetics

It took a bit of time but now triggers should work without issues. Also any account settings won't affect the behaviour of triggers from this moment (previously auction notifications and online status were taken into account). Trigger name is added to the message title.

I moved this back to the Bugs forum because I think I'm still having issues... 

These two Lykos seemed to have slipped through my request to search for dominant hound. I selected dominant, as I realized Homozygous was having issues. 

If the pet is Homozygous shouldn't this also trigger for the "dominant" request? The gene is dominant, and it is also homoyzygous. Or should I make a whole new Trigger for the dominant variant, and one for homozygous?
