Hi, i'm new and i'm wondering where do I get vermillions? I want to research the genes on my pets my I don't have any.

It is pretty rare, usually you can find it exploring. Also, you can buy it in the item trades.

The best island, ino, to find vermillion is Desert, especially if your males haven't explored yet, or you don't mind your females getting pregnant -- due to the egg shrine giving you some vermillion for donation gene / caring some baby.
