Hello all, my name is Amber and I joined this game today because it just looks so friggen awesome! :D However after completing the tutorial I didn't understand the aim of playing this game successfully. I still want to play this game but I am unsure of what I should do exactly :/ If someone could just give me an overview of the game and particular aspects that are important such as obtaining money etc. please comment. I have no idea of what to do. One of my dragons is pregnant and my other dragon is busy on a quest while my other two are out of energy :/

Please help. It would be muchly appreciated.

This is a pet breeding game so I would suggest you get familiar with the Breeding System first.

Of course, since you just started, things aren't going to be easy. I would suggest you grab as many pets as possible right now and explore with them. Pets can be obtained for free once a day through the pound. I wouldn't suggest you capture wild pets as of now. The market also lists some pet being sold for less than 500 silver. (You get 500 silver in exchange of abandoning a pet into the pound) Exploring with pets will get you material, silver(amount increases with explorer pets' level) and exp (although exp is much less than what you would obtain from the arena for the same amount of energy).

Material can be used to build things in your mansion to make your life easier. Leveling up Warehouse and Stable is usually what is suggested, but you will need the scheme for it. Look in the Contest and Giveaway subforum of the boads. People are very generous there. 

Silver along with Vermillion you pick up while exploring can be used to research your pet's genes (Vermillion is something people ALWAYS need), something you need to breed them properly. Vote daily for BK for an easy 1.5k silver and play the market. Do this for a while and work on understanding the finer details of BK and you should be all set.
