Hello!

I just recently joined this site and went through the previous tutorial steps without problems. However now I am stuck at the part where the task is the following: Go to Pets tab, select an active pet. On the pet Profile page, go to Genetics tab and click "Research all genes" button.

At first I ran out of money and waited until another one of my pets came back from an expedition and restarted the research on the same pet as before. The tutorial quest is still not completed and by now I have no more vermillion to research any more genes.

I'd appreciate if someone could help me out of this misery. If this is no bug and I simply made a mistake or missed something I apologise.

Thanks for your time!

I would appreciate some help here as well!

I've researched her color gene and it still has me stuck in the tutorial and it's rather annoying :(

Did you use your vemillion and silver for things you weren't meant to? During the tutorial you should follow the instructions exactly so you don't mess anything up.

Niluna, could you please clarify how exactly you got this result? Did you click "Research all" button according to the tutorial task? It's enough to have only 1 Vermillion and 100 coins left to finish this task, and after tutorial explores you should have 15+ Vermillion and 1000+ coins. Was this button disabled, or did it give you an error (if yes, then could you please post the text of the error), or did it work and uncovered the biggest half of your pet's genes but the tutorial didn't finish after this? We need to know which step has failed to be able to fixnit.

Ayavin, you mention only one gene, so you used the wrong button. Please click "Research all" button like it's written in task to complete this tier.

I know that personally the tutorial for catching wild pets was very seriously confusing, and I spent coins hiring catchers that I didn't need. nbut I was still able to research two genes, and it says you only need one

@Angel (#3)

I did hit research all

It only researched one

Ayavin, it's enough to research only one but with "Research all" button. It won't count if you will research the genes one by one. If you had resources for two genes but only one was researched, then it was possible to do this only by hitting another button that researches one gene per click. You should still have the resources for the second gene. Please try "Research all button".

I hit research all twice.

Each time I only had the resources to reasearch one gene, and now Im out of coins again.

Is not having nough silver for more than one gene causing it to glitch?

Okay, I just spent 1000 silver on researching via the "Research all Genes"  button. Im not out of vermillion, and it STILL hasn't unlocked the next step in the tutorial :\

----

After I received the task I went to the page of my Gryphon and clicked on "Research all genes" in the "Genetics" tab.

I had a couple hundreds coins and some vermillion, I do not remember how many exactly. The button was clickable and I did not get any error message. Afterwards I went afk for a bit and when I came back I checked my Gryphons page again.

Some of the genes were uncovered and it said something like "not enough coins", the buttons were disabled and the tutorial quest was not completed. I then waited for my other pet to finish the exploration to get some more coins and vermillion.

I checked my Gryphons page and the Research buttons in the "Genetics" tab were enabled again. So I clicked on "Research all genes" a second time. Now I used up all vermillion and the tutorial task is still not completed.

Thank you for your fast reply and I hope we can get this sorted out soon.

@Niluna

I apologize for posting on your bug report, but as it was similar, I thought my side would help too

I also have a screenshot of the genes being unlocked, the buttons being disabled, the vermillion being gone, and the tutorial not progressing

Thank you for the details. I've added 300 coins and 3 Vermillion to your accounts, please try once more (probably it's better to try on a "clear" pet with unresearched genes). We're working on reproducing this issue right now to see how to fix it.

I didn't see the "clear pet" part of that before I tried on my puma again D8

It didn't do anything different when I used it on Liyla, if it helps

I used the coins and vermillion to research all genes on my Unicorn pet. Three genes were unlocked but the tutorial task is still incomplete.

We've found why this happened. It's a pretty fresh issue that appeared just a few hours ago only, so you were the first who noticed it. I'm very sorry for asking again, but this time it should work. It doesn't matter what pet is it, just make sure that it has at least one unresearched gene.

Thank you very much for the reporing and sorry for the inconvenience.

Oh that worked!

Thank you so much for helping with this

I hope it works for Niluna as well, and i personally really appreciate how much you worked to make sure things got fixed ;u;

I admit, my first impression had started to fizzle, but with someone who cares enough to take time to fix something like this, I am very impressed.

Thank you again, I'm very happy to be able to keep going! :D

It worked perfectly now. Genes were researched, tutorial finished.

Thanks a lot for fixing it so quickly and the friendly support along the way.
