Hello! New person here, and I'm just wondering about a couple things about the game.

First, is there a most "efficient" way to feed each pet that plays to the strength of their breed? Like should I focus on making my dragons stronger because they seem inclined towards that naturally, etc, or is a more balanced diet good? Does it just depend on what I want them to do? If so, in what situations are certain stats good for? 

Also, how do I get silver? I seem to be gaining it at a slow pace, and I'm not sure if it's because I'm missing something lol. I want to buy the blueprints, but nothing I seem to gather while exploring seems to be worth much. Are there other ways to get money, or do I keep exploring and trying to sell things via Item Trades?

Is there a guide somewhere on what all the items are used for?

And just in general, any tips for a newbie on things to do?

Stats aren't really based on species per say, but the genes that the pet has (which can be unique to certain species!).

There are also other item guides on that forum, I suggest checking them out! 

Silver can be gotten in so many ways. You actually gained 10 silver making that post! 

I highly recommend building an Embassy to allow more daily quests (http://beastkeeper.com/quests) (It hasn't been updated in a bit, but there is a list of most of the pets needed in quests so you can assure you always have the right pet! http://beastkeeper.com/thread/5701)

Exploring will gain you silver too. Pets that are higher in level will be able to explore a larger map- more silver for you! 

Breeding and selling pets is probably the main way of making money. A lot of people end up specializing in a few different breeds or characteristics. 

Doing art can also help you gain silver and gold!
