Thanks! I am actually working on the base as this is posted. I was thinking a light purple base with darker purple accents and a bit of white.

Ya, the light purple looks really nice. You should make some of the accents light blue or light green.  not saying you have too, just thought the colors would look nice

update: you said dark highlights, maybe royal blue. That would fo well
