I think this was a feature that used to be available (but unless I have a bug it seems to have disapeared), but I think on the pet trades, you should be able to type a species into the search bar and be able to view all of that species up for trading. I'm sorry if someone has already mentioned this.

I think the search bar in the pet trades is only if you know the name of the pet you are looking for. There is a plus sign next to the search bar that gives you advanced search options which include among other things, searching by specific species
