This site is pretty open ended, but the first thing you should be doing is getting the materials to build Stable level 2 so you can gather lots of pets. Warehouse lvl 2 is also useful, so you won't be choked on inventory space all the time. 

You can find pretty nice pets in the pound and for cheap in the pet market. To get silver... You can either find and explore with a level 41-50 pet (Gives 300-500 silver per treasure chest) or sell the items you find in explore in Item Trades. Premium items such as Energy Drinks/Magic Fruits/Change Sex and Vermillion will sell for a good amount. Just see what others are selling for and match their price. Quests are also a good source of money - You might be able to find people willing to lend you pets in this thread. 

Contests and Giveaways is also a good place to find free starting pets and building materials (Building materials only get used once per building, so lots of older people have everything built and will give away their extra materials for free)
