In the "Premium Item Shop" there's lots of different pet-modifying items. Usually I only use the Energy Drink. Today, because I nI deeded to up a pet's constitution, I decided to begin trying out other things.

I used 60 gold worth of Mutagen Potion and Cactus Melon.

First tried 10 Cactus Melon, but because of my pet's Light Bones (which decreases Constitution by 25%), I decided to try the Mutagen to change Light Bones to ANYTHING else.

I used about... 30-40 gold's worth trying that. It changed Avele's appearance, Avele's awesome genes to bad ones and back to different awesome ones and then bad ones again... but it didn't change Light Bones. I'm pretty sure it changed everything BUT. xD I'm not complaining, I actually think it's kind of funny (except that I used all of my gold and increased my constitution to ONE point under what I need). 

What are your experiences with pet modifying?

Where are you getting all this gold? I have 0 gold so far and haven't had the opportunity to try any Premium shop items. When/if I do, though, I think I'd like Expand Stable scroll.

You get it from reporting bugs. It's a little thank you from the admins. You also can get items too. You can also get it multiple times.

I actually got it from referring people. c: I accidentally reported a bug but I didn't get any gold from it.

I've referred 13 people, and you get 10 gold from each referral. c:

I've used one mutagen on a unicorn mare with several red stats I was hopin to fix - got a recessive stripes gene instead.  Stripes is actually a gene I really want, but now I've got it on a pet with horrible stats, lol.

Normal organs changed to Faint-hearted.
Normal skin changed to Thin skin.

Well that didn't go as hoped xD

You can also find the gold shop items in chests exploring, you don't need gold. I've gotten a rainbow potion, mutagen, and one of the stat-foods from them. It's rare though.

You can also get gold from being on the weekly top chart.

I used the one I found on one of my rocs, it made her recessive for musical beak. Yay.

I've had pretty good experience with Mutagens. The only one I didn't like was when one turned my puma Nocturne from a black panther to a red leopard.

I used so many mutagens on him I don't remember anymore what they all changed. xD
 But here is what i still know.

Normal jaws -> double incisors -> weak jaws (at least he still carries the incisors)

normal organs -> regeneration -> faint hearted (boo again he still carries regeneration)

elemental resistance ->thick skin

normal claws -> sharp claws -> clumsy paws (looks like I always use 1 mutagen to many here)

normal ->piebald

And since I actually changed his looks after all this time I guess I let him stay that way.
