Hi! I started playing a few days ago, and while I am off to a pretty good start, I have a few questions. 

First, is there any way to get vermillion other than finding it through explore? I cant research my pet genes because I am having such a hard time finding any. 

Also, tips on making silver? So far I am doing the quests that I can, and exploring a lot. I have sold a few of my pets already, and offer breeding from a couple. What else is there to do? I am trying to save up for level 2 stables.

Any general tips to help me with the game? Im focusing on leveling my pets and looking for supplies, so I explore a lot. Whats the purpose? Do high levels affect breeding?

1. If you are exploring make sure you are in the grasslands, anyways you can buy some in the autions. The other way is to go to the forum labeled "Contests and GIveaways" then go to Aelisk's Wishing Well and make a wishlist.

2. Probaly just make sure you always put up pets in the quests, thats pretty much it

3. GP0 lv. 50 x GP0 lv. 50 = GP1 baby

GP1 lv. 50 x GP1 lv. 50 = GP2 baby

GP2 lv. 50 x GP2 lv. 50 = GP3 baby, so yes the level (and GP) effect the breeding outcome.

Blueprint Tip:: Don't buy the blueprints from the state shop, they're so expensive there. You can find them while exploring or you can check out the forums for "Free Blueprint!" threads and check there. Or, again, Aelisk's Wishing Well is a great place to go for these things ;) I'm a wish granter there and I keep all of the blueprints I find to gift out to people who need them. Blueprints can also be bought pretty cheap most of the time in the item trades.

Vermillion Tip:: I'd advise building Astrologist (lvl 1), and the following levels, and setting it to help increase your chances of finding Vermillion. It's a great help. Or, as daisy said, you can go to the Wishing Well.

Silver Tip:: Doing the quests and exploring are great ways to earn silver. Building the Embassy increases the number of quests available each day and you can post in the Quest Trades asking to borrow pets you don't have for the quests. You get 500 silver for each pet sent to the pound and you can get 1,500 a day from voting.

Adding on about the silver - Level 41-50 pets get about 300-500 silver per chest they find in the explore. So you can get a good income by just exploring with a troop of level 50 pets. There's a few high level pets pretty cheap in the Pet trades, who'll earn back their cost with a couple explores. Also, check in the pound.

Stable space is most important early, since the more pets you have = the more energy you have to use. I'd focus on building that, maybe the Astrologist, and then maybe also the State Portal Service Branch to increase the number of explores you can do. And also a few warehouses so you aren't choked on space all the time.

Selling valuable items in trades is the easiest way to get silver. Energy Drinks, Change Sex, Magic Fruits, Mutagens, Amnesia Potions, Geneticist/Travelling Magician... They all go for a lot in auction (Trust other people's buyout costs, not their start bids), and can fund your building costs for a long time. 

Thanks! Right now I'm working on building my stable to level 2, I just need to get some more clay, and silver. my highest level pet is 28, so I'll use her to explore and earn some silver to buy a pet at least level 40.

Levelling pets is great! I don't know if you have noticed, but as you level your pets the islands they explore become bigger! A level 50 pet will uncover a larger island than a level 1 pet. That means lots more resources. :)

Thank you! I'm working on leveling my pets by exploring, but im finding so much stuff that my warehouse is already full! So I guess upgrading that is what I will be doing next!
