Not sure if this has been suggested before but a simple add on to the message system to select All Messages at once would be nice to help empty out your inbox faster. It's tiring to have to click on every single message on the display page just to delete them all
The often imitated but never duplicated ;)

This is already a feature. You hav Title, Sender, Sent at, and Delete? along the top of your inbox. Clicking Delete? selects all of the messages on the page. If you select a couple messages manually and then click Delete? all of the messages except the ones you selected will be marked to delete.
