When doing a search for GP Lykos, in pet trades/ auctions, I found that only a blank  drop down and no menu appeared, when clicking to choose a grade.  Same for degeneration grades, just a blank where the menu normally drops.

Sorry, I can't reproduce it. Could you please tell all the search parameters except GP / degeneration and species, your browser and OS and if you have this problem constantly or it failed to load only once? Also a screenshot with this blank menu would be nice to see where and how exactly the query is terminated.

I was using Chrome browser on a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 version) tablet.  I tried several times and got a blank menu each time...which floated, when I scrolled.

I did try a screenshot,  but although the blank menu showed when I did the capture,  it had disappeared  when I pasted the shot here.

I then checked the gene boxes and tried again, this time the menu appeared correctly for both Degeneration and GP options. 

Thank you for details. I tried to reproduce it on a few Android devices but didn't succeed. Looks like there was some kind of connection issue and some of the scripts failed to load completely. Please leave a note if you'll have the same problem again.
