You dont have to make it exactly the same, but it still needs to big things. Lion body, dragon wings and scorpion tail.

When suggesting a pet try to provide a background story, how the pet can be gotten, and genes that the pet could have. Some possible idea on skin colorations and so on. Also, it helps to post an image or two directly to the forum. You did well explaining the necessary body components!

The link work for me and an image of a Manticore showed up. And judging by the description, TheKitKat, gave is that it is a Manticore she is suggesting.

TheKitKat, lots of info is missing for this species suggestion, as Nightingale said. If you had or have read the "Please read before posting a new topic" stickie, you would find that number 5 says that simply naming a creature will not do. You need to include genetics, rarity, how it can be obtained, and so on.

Sorry. I dont know my genes very well. I have never researched a mammel's genes. The cost of 100 coins and the rare vermillion... And I want to know all the roc genes I can find. I know no mammal's genes except their color... And uh, here's a picture or the beast. Though it looks like it would commonly have these genes...Common

Like the scorpion tail could perhaps give the pet the ability of acid strike, double incisors could also be a possibility, massive wings, lionheart, sharp claws, and beserker would be a great addition.

Ah, the manticore of Persian mythology. Known to tear men to shreads, which is why it was given it Persian name which means "man-eater." To have the body of a lion and tail of a scorpion, and many written to have seen it to have the face of a man, and sometimes either wings or horns, or both. Its roar was a mixture of  pipe or trumpet, and much like its cousin the Sphinx, the manticore would challenge their prey with riddles before killing. 

Sorry, this creature is one of my favorites. Plus, I guess I filled the backstory info that was needed.

I agree this has definately improved, genes do need a little more, but over all better.

I suppose some other colorations could be asiatic lion, fruit bat, and king scorpian. Fox bat, African lion, deathstalker scorpian, vampire bat, white lion and sand scorpians. There are more but I will leave it at that.The manticore is a Lion+Bat+Scorpian. Not dragon.

Manticore. I'm posting a Manticore. And, ok. I will look at the list of genes then edit this. Or edit it on the one where I listed its genes. And.... It can be obtained by a mammal catcher, because its part lion. And a reptile catcher, because its part scorpion and dragon.  It can be found in the Heart of the Forest and the Eastern Feilds. It is pretty much really really rare because of the part dragon part lion part scorpion. Is that good? And it can also have the genes a puma can have, like saber teeth, etc..

Lion+ Bat+ Scorpian....I think it's pretty awesome. ;)

Um, don't you think you should add some negative genes as well? I have a few ideas for that- weak eyesight, less manes, thin skin, any sorts of phobia.....you could probably get some ideas yourself, though. But if you'd like to, you can add these few ideas of mine. :) Hope this helps!

Strong Wings

Acid Strike(Like Nightingale mentioned)

Big Claws

Poison Bite(sometimes, when the creature uses bite, it will give the other beast an affect of poison for 3 more moves, each move there will be 10 hp taken away)

Bad genes-

Unusable Wings(they increase the chance of missing the move rush, because wind gets in its wings and slows it down)

Short Teeth (increases the chances of Bite not working)

Sensative Paws(Increases the chances of Rush not working)

And more I dont know.
