Hey there! Here, I'm going to be presenting a few images I'm working on as free public skins. So far, all are WIP's, as this is my first time doing something like this, so any advice/feedback on these will be hugely appreciated. I'll try to keep this updated with new linearts/colorations regularely, so be sure to check back often!

First up (and currently my only work) the Furdragon!

Recolored Bronze with Gold

(A new version of this dragon can be seen later in the thread)

With chinfur:

Basically the original image with fur replacing the spikes. More fur/colorations to be added with later updates.

Sunset Dragon

Once again, I would -love- any sort of feedback/interest checks you could possibly provide. Suggestions for colorations would also be lovely.

Nice job, Meesh! :D Maybe some sort of frill on the wings, or maybe something else? Possibly even something on the feet, if you come up with something. (;

As I said, I'm not that good with visualizing how things will look, that's why I leave artists to do what they do, haha!

The whites seem a bit too white, you could try tinting the layer with them on it a color, like orange for the bronze or yellow for the green. :)

The third one is good too. I think you need some more highlights in the chinfur though ^^.

The bronze is cute too. I think you should color the talons in on the feet though to make them pop-out more and to balance the gold in the mane.

You shoudl add some leg feathering too! :D I love leg feathering!

So, just as a quick review, I need to add:

Frill on the wings and feet, possibly more (that just means more fur, yush? o3o)

Fix the shading on the dragons so that the whites aren't so prominent

Add highlights to the chinfur

Color the talons gold.

More leg feathering.

It looks like a jelly dragon, I like it! though the fur would look better with soft lines instead of pixelines.

yes the fur is in a different style from the rest of the dragon it is much crisper then the smooth dragon art. I know you can do smooth pixel art but it often requires larger items

maybe some steam from the nose? It looks much better btw

Hmm. I'm still not positive I'm sure what y'all mean, but I'll play around with GIMP, see what I can do :3

Also, I have no idea how to even start on smoke, so I'm gonna try looking that up this week and seeing what I can learn for my next dragon. In the meantime, I'm gonna be submitting this baby and starting on the next one :3

Edit: Here's the latest faliure. No lineart changes, as I did this one on a wackier template that didn't give me as much freedom as Shadow's, but I played with the colors a bit :3 I call it the Sunset Dragon
