I'm working on those Pumas too but no good results yet as I didn't have any good starters (wasn't breeding pumas before this at all). So yeah, I'm a bit worried that my breeding projects won't give me a desired gene combo in time even with the ideal males from other players.

The optimal would be to borrow a quest pet on a daily basis, so it can fulfill the quest for a few players per day (up to 5 if to coordinate everything well and renters will restore pet's energy before sending back).
