Im not sure if its an actual bug but this is just sensless...Ive used about 12 50% DCA injections and got out only 1 deviant baby...its supposed to be 50% so I should have arround 6 deviant babies...there has to be something wrong because its not behaving like a 50% more like the usual 10%...I mean Im more succesfull when I dont use the injections than when I do...and its rather unfair since I spent so much time in exploring looking for crystals...I dont know but it just seems there has to be somekindoff bug with the calculations...

Thank you for the links. There's one pet that couldn't become deviant because of the wrong genetics, but all other pets qualify for rolling a chance.

We've run a bunch of tests and performed complex debugging this night, and we didn't find anything wrong. Since DCA is a chance item, it can sometimes give odd results with the small quantities, like 10 pets in a row are deviant or other 10 pets in a row are not. Testing on the large samples (1000 and 10000 pets) provided the expected result for a 50% probability. I'm sorry, but this looks like just a bad luck.

which pet couldnt become a deviant? I made sure that all my pairs give a good chance at deviant having at least one parent homozygous and the other preferably homozygous too but at least carriers of that gene...

well given the price and the chance, mathematicaly it should be working on small quantities as well...it goes fine up to 10 but once surpasing that number its turning from bad luck to bad mathematics...after what number then would you consider a mistake?because its physicaly impossible to get 1000 uses of that shot as now you only buy 1 shot with the 8 crystals not 5 anymore and those 8 crystals are already tough to get (I find about 6-7 a day from about 40-50 explorations and the event is to end in a couple of days (I think we have like 2 weeks all together?)...I mean if it keeps coming out useless its losing its point specialy if I can get for the price of one much more of other items that actualy work like the transmitter or pink fish eggs...

Please reserach the genetics of your pets to see which one isn't homozygous in either color or pattern.

Sorry, we have thoroughly checked checked all the scripts and didn't find any errors. As I already mentioned, it may be hard to see the statistics for a single player but it's easy for an emulation with 10k of pets. We already spent several hours for a complete test and debugging to make sure that we didn't miss any cases or hidden conditions, but it turned out that everything works as expected. Please remember that all your previous rolls doesn't affect the current roll. No matter how many times you get heads or tails, it's still 1/2 chance that you have tails for the current flip. It's possible to have tails 100 times in a row, just the probability of this event is significantly lower than to have tails one time. But it's still possible.

DCA is one of the most valuable items among the Warlock items. Deviant pets aren't supposed to be easy to get, this is why this item stays a chance item even for a certain price. Warlocks offer a variety of limited items that have different designation and scope. If you think that other items are more profitable, you can focus on collecting crystals to trade them instead of DCA. It's up to you to decide which ones are more valuable for your playing style and game goals.

well its physicaly impossible to throw 100x the same in heads or tails but I get your point....though still I think that once the number surpases 10 and is reaching 15 its not right...damn I realy hope todays foal comes out deviant from the injection...
