Is there an item you can get to change a pet's genetic color type? I was exploring with my owl patterned roc, and found a color changer house. I mistakenly thought it would change the white part of her color only, but it changed her pattern to normal as well as her color. I'm not overly fond of it and she is one of my best explorers. Can she be salvaged?

Unless you are very lucky, she won't be back to how she was... 

You can give her some mutagens, but there is no guarantee on which genes will be changed. Your best bet is to find that building again and change her color to something else. It will be different than what it is now, but probably not the same as it was.
