What is the simplest way to explain how to get a deviant?

Simple? Pick 2 parents that have the same colour or pattern genes (preferably both should have those genes twice so that your offspring is guaranteed to get double of that gene) and breed them. This gives you a 10% chance that the baby will be Deviant.
