Monster Codex

The Central Scriptorium has published the first part of Monster Codex. This treatise contains extensive knowledge about grassland and desert monsters. All Beastlords are highly adviced to study it in order to be prepared for all the risks that their pets may face on the islands.

There's a duplicate of the last paragraph about Cygnons in the monster codex.

Does this not include deviant piebald unicorns?  My deviant blue roan is genetically piebald but does not show up on my list.

Novadragon, pied silver cockatrices should work for this exhibition. I see that you have already applied your pied silver cockatrice, so probably the problem is gone. Please message me if you have any other issues.

Lytala, thank you, Cygnon description is fixed.

tucuxia, depends on what gene is deviant. It will work for deviant color but won't for deviant pattern since deviant piebald unicorns don't have cattle like spots and their pattern is closer to deers and antelopes. Color related exhibitions are usually based on the appearance of the pet instead of its genetics.

Angel...I also have a deviant blue roan, homozygous for piebald pattern, who can't be entered . but I see that this one has been successfully entered and it is deviant pattern too. Please can you enlighten me as to why one can be entered and one cannot ?

Thank you

Indiana, there was a mistake in the array of allowed colors, it allowed normal white deviant piebald  instead of deviant white normal piebald unicorns. It's fixed now, the wrong pet is removed from exhibition and the application fee is refunded to its owner. Thank you for pointing this out and sorry for confusion.

I'm pretty amazed at how big a difference deviant genes make in the exhibits... I've got a deviant white, normal piebald unicorn who made me jump about 90 places O.o

Unstable internet connection for Christmas. Please pardon my delayed responses.

Congratulations to the winners!

Angel I can't put this dragon in the exhibit. He is Pieldbald Black, can he participate?

One other problem with the codex. Why is the dragonish monster missing from the grassland section when the hopper is included but not currently on the islands?

These dont look like cow patterns to me but they are still allowed in.

The Gryphon i suppose is on the edge depending on the cow breed you would compare it with but then if the Nun pattern why not the crow pattern or bicolors.

The Throdama I cannot see how they would qualify as a cow pattern.
