Why can i not 'Explore' the Islands? I have tried all pets with over 6 energy, including 3 with 10 energy, but the explore tab opens but the portal is closed, why?
Note: my warehouse is full i am trying to sell things so a have enough room to buy a warehouse lvl 2, would this make a diferance?

No you can explore with a full warehouse.
Could it be that you don't have enough islands left to explore? When you click on Explore, it says "Located Islands" above the portal. If it says 0 there that would explain it. You only get a new island every hour (unless you have a State Portal Service Branch built, but that's later in the game).

The only reason I can think of is that you already went 20 times.
One portal open everyhour to accumulate 20.
