Hello, Hello my dear audience ;-)

In the search of a virtual pet site with a little bit more of a complex side to it, I finally found my way to BK.

As my name does not really reveal my gender, it may be told, that I am female. If you any ideas for nicknames it will be very much appreciated.
My age shall be kept a secret. At least unless you, dear reader, made an attempt to get to know me better.

I am very fond of chocolate and pizza. I love to watch lightning striking across the sky and I prefer cold weather over hot. Spiders gross me out, but frogs are very lovely creatures.

If I am not gazing out of the window, I create - mostly things out of fabric or thread (costumes, embroidery, tapestries, spinning, needle binding....).

I also like to burry my nose in a good book or play a game.

Oh, and as for the beasts here on this site - it is very hard to decide - but I already got very attached to my Roc (kurofude) and my Gryph (Moyu). I am toying with writing a nice background story for them :)

While taking care of my beasties here, I would also like to play some roleplay - I haven't found one I am interested in yet - so if there is anyone that has a reccomendation, come forward ;-)

Other than that, reciving a pm would be very lovely and appreciated.

Best regards,

Imabatteru

YOU MAKE THINGS?!?! *foamsatthemouth* Do you have pictures? I love admiring embroidery. It's one of the few sewing related things that I actually feel somewhat confident in.

I'm currently learning to try to sew.... Yes... My Mom taught me a bit when I was little, and now I actually want to make things, especially dresses. I'm attending my first ever renaissance festival. And I'm making my costume, and trying to help my friends who know less than I.

I found a beautiful skirt at goodwill, and another skirt to put over that one, and a velvet top that I want to add sleeves to.

I just don't know that much about sewing. Do you recommend any books, references, videos, or tips??

I also love cold weather and lightning. I also have a dirt devil handheld that I use to suck up spiders. There are so many in my apartment and they are attracted to me (as evident by the welts where they bite).

I too enjoy reading and am buried deep in "The Name of the Wind" I can't believe I did not read this earlier. o.0 So good.

I enjoy roleplaying but I respond too slowly to do anything serious at the moment and am not sure what I would like to roleplay about. In the past I've always used wolves... but now I'd love to write a story... I just wish I had more time. o0.

Anyway, I got lost there...

Welcome to Beastkeeper. If you need help feel free to PM me. I hope you enjoy it here and stick around! :)

Well, yes I do make things - even though I still have to learn a lot.

I will send you my deviantart account via pm, so you can have a look :)

If you don't know much about sewing I can reccomend mothers (my mom helped me alot) and if this is no option than patterns from burda, simpilicity or butterick might work nice.

The thing is I have some really amazing sewing books, but they are all in German....so I doubt they will be a great help to you.

But basically I learned most things by using patterns from the companies mentioned above and a lot of patience and practice. When it comes to historical costume I reccomend browsing the internet - there are normally a lot of which explain, what works for a certain period of time and what doesn't.

XD I have never been bitten by a spider - they only make their webs right in front of my entrance door -___- so whenever I come home I have to move like a spy through a laser beam security *sigh*

What is "The Name of the Wind" about? And what genres do you prefer?

I know the time problem :) but sometimes an opportunity will rise again - I am certain (and I hope...also for myself ;___;)

Anyway, thanks a lot for your nice message :) I hope we can continue to talk about various things ^^
