When I logged in today I had over 20k silver coins.  I did some exploring and entered 4 pets in the "Stripes Addiction" game.  Now I have 297 silver coins.  I didn't buy anything, nor did I win any auctions, at least according to my reports.  I won 2 yesterday but that was yesterday.  What happened to my money?

I use Windows XP and Chrome right now and I'll check at home, when I get there where I use Widows Vista and Chrome.

Here's the list of expenses, please make sure that none of them is taking your silver away:

• Daily pet food (18 per pet if you don't have enough food in your inventory)
• Genetics research (100 per gene)
• Hiring catchers and sending them to expeditions
• Placing bids on pet and item auctions
• Buying pets and items through private offers
• Accepting breeding offer from another player's pet
• Losing a battle with bid on Arena or in private challenge
• Buying items from the Magic Shop on islands
• Training a pet. Silver is not refunded when you cancel the training session.
• Crafting items and constructing buildings

If you don't recall any of these actions, please say and we will dig into logs tomorrow morning (it requires quite a bit of time to analyze all dumps and we have 3AM here, so I apologize for not doing it right away).

I completely understand time and effort to look into things.

Didn't have to spend to feed pets, had enough food per my Reports.

Didn't do any genetic research.

Didn't hire catchers

Didn't buy any pets, I did buy items at auction but that was yesterday and the money should have already been taken out.  

Didn't buy anything thru private offers

Didn't breed.

Didn't battle in the Arena

Might have bought an item from the magic shop for 5000. but not 20k

Didn't train a pet.

Did build a building.  But that was the day before.  Do they take out the money when you start building?  Or when it finishes.  If it was when it finishes, then it might be the problem.  The building I built was a stable L2.

Ok, we checked all logs from 2:00 AM Jun 30th until 3:00 AM Jul 1st.

Starting sum was 25593.

The expenses that we tracked for this period are the following:

• 5000 for Stable lvl2 construction
• 5000 for Blueprints: Ridinhole purchase
• 5000 for Blueprints: Inn purchase
• 3800 for Clay purchase on auction
• 1000 for swapping stats through Copper Idols on island
• 300 for genetics research

We do not log some of the expenses at the current moment but if to judge by the list above, we assume that the rest of sum was spent in a natural way as well.

Thank you so much for checking.  I guess I did spend that much.  Is it all taken out at once instead of when spent?  I noticed that the coins that I received for voting doesn't come in when I vote but when a new day happens, is it the same for purchases?  It does make it difficult to judge your spending.  That could be why I was so shocked by the amount that was deducted.

No, coins are deducted at the moment when you spend them. Most part of the sum was spent in a 2 hour period (something like 15k) according to tyhe logs. Concerning voting, there's really a delay up to an hour sometimes until we get the response from voting directories.
