Do you get a magic bomb when you hire a magic catcher?

It charged me for the magic catcher though.
It was originally an experiment to see if I wasn't charged to buy a magic catcher,(after reading about GloriousGoat's post) but I was.

Yes, you get Magic Bomb when you hire a Magic Catcher, and vice versa. They do not transform into each other, it's a different appearence of the same thing: Magic Cathcer can be sent to catch Wild Pets, and Magic Bomb is an item which allows you to trade your Magic Catchers.
There was a glitch which allowed users with 0 to hire Magic Catchers. It is fixed now.

Simply by going to the Capture page and using the Magic Catcher that appears automatically when you have the Magic Bomb in your inventory.
