So this has to do with the pound....(yes I know I read the sticky)

BUT!

What if you could search for pets in the shelter by name? Say you sent the wrong pet to the pound by accident. Instead of refreshing forEVER you could enter in the search box "goddess" and all the pound puppies with the name goddess would show up?

Thought it definitely helps you if you lose a pet in the pound on accident, it can also be abused. What if someone had some nice pets in the pound they mmeant to use for a game of chance and everyone just went after them by searching? Everyone would start chasing after the good pets and the bad ones would just stay unwanted.

I don't know how workable it would be codewise, but what if you could only search your own pets that were sent to the pound. Or add an upgrade to the pound where you could track your pounded pets and either reclaim them or get to see who ends up adopting them.

Like maybe having a message sent to the Reports that says "You have sent 'Unnamed' to the pound" and that sort of thing. The only way I can track pets that have been sent to the pound is if I am in possession of the mother and if I remember who the mother is, which isn't always the case.

I think having it in the reports would be nice. 

Also I do find the "Are you Sure" button to be very vague... It is not clear. It has the same message for the other options on the Pet Control Panel. Maybe it should say "Are you sure you want to send this pet to the pound?"

The only thing I would like to be different in the pound is if you could chose the species you are searching for and if not by species what separeting them by reptiles, mammal and birds.

I like the idea of being able to search by species. Searching by gender would also be useful to narrow down the pets you're looking through.

I could see either or both of these search options actually being implemented because, unlike a genetics search, neither of them would give you any more information about the pets than is already visible. That way it's still luck of the draw as to whether your chosen pet has decent genetics.
