Some of the invites are pet oriented to optimize said pet " inhabiting a den."
What exactly does that mean, inhabiting a den?

Den is a type of location at the map. Every wild pet is bound to a specific den until you catch this pet. There are 6 dens total: 3 for ground pets (Heart of the Forest, Big Tree, Magic glade) and 3 for flying pets (Cave, Old Ruins, Island). When a new pet comes to a den that is empty at this moment, this is called inhabiting.
