How the heck does one find one? None of my pets have found any yet.

You need to craft one. First you need to find or buy the scheme and collect all the materials. Then you use your pet to craft it ^^ 

I accidentally made one... I accidentally clicked yes when I meant to click something else. I'd be willing to trade the rubies it took me to make it (or even a bit less). You can get a scheme in Item Trades pretty cheap. And also, it would be helpful to get a ruby golem as well.
