I'm just wondering, for invites like a Genecist Invite, do the effects of the invite last forever? or only 1 action more?

When you invite someone, they will come to your Inn for 3 days and during that time their effects are active (so Geneticist meaning that you can select which genes to research). Once they leave their effects are gone too.

There is one invite's effect that is permanent, though, the druid invite permanently increases the characteristics of the pets found in your land by 10%.

Really? Huh, I didn't know that.. I mean, I know it says that he permanently increases the pets' stats by 10% but I always assumed it was just a small translation error or some inaccuracy. It seemed highly unlikely that all other guests have their uses only while theyre there but just that one stays. Also makes the Druid a very undesirable guest then.. Once you've had him once you never need another invite for him again.. :/

Stats increase for the caught pets is permanent meaning that their stats won't go down 10% when Druid leaves. Druid presence and his effect aren't permanent, they work just like the effects of all other gusets. While he's in inn, he will give a permanent boost to newly caught wild pets. When he leaves, there's no boost for newly caught pets anymore.
