I watched the tutorial on the battlefield and decided to try it out. I made my squad, went there, and selected an area with no problem. However, I can't do anything past that - none of the buttons at the bottom right of the screen do anything when clicked. I'm using Chrome on Windows 7.

Could you please answer several clarifying questions?

1. Was any of the buttons active or they all were grayed out?
2. Did all of your squad pets had 10 energy when you tried to land on the battlefield?
3. Did you select a highlighted coastal area or some other zone?

Ah, didn't know you had to start on the coast. Thanks! (solved)
