Hi! I'm new here, so please forgive me if this is a stupid question...but I'm trying to reskin my pets, and the button for choosing the new skin is greyed out and won't let me click it, even if that particular skin costs nothing.

Please help!

You have to have the item rainbow jar to change the skin of the pet. Once you use it, it will disappear from your inventory (basically, it's a one-use item).

How do I get the Rainbow Jar? :$ Is it a premium item purchasable only with real money, like Howrse's Golden Apple?

You can buy them from the premium shop for 10 gold. Or you can find them in the magic shop on explore (for 5k, or as a reward). You can also buy it from users in the items sales/exchanges.

Gold can be gotten by donating to the site, refering users that complete the newbie tutorial (10g), making the weekly charts (10g), or by reporting site bugs.
