My  roc, Blaylock, (http://beastkeeper.com/pet/84069) was still exploring an island and so I clicked on him and then went to explore. He was in the middle of the water, and when I pressed the down arrow he was teleported to an entirely different map... 

I had something similar happen with a unicorn, but this time it was in the middle of the island and when I pressed down it whizzed to a different part of the map.

I forgot to get a screenshot... sorry.

My browser is Google Chrome, and I don't know what the OS version is.

It's not a bug. This happens when your browser loses connection with server. Pet position is stored on server to avoid abuse on the client side. If client fails to retrieve this data from server, visual pet position will be wrong until you move and get the correct position data.
