How does one aquaire one? I'd really love to get my hands on a Yellow nomad, but I've not been able to figure out how to get one.

They come from another planet and can't be caught in you manor like normal pets. You need to hold the portal zone on the battlefield for 10 hours. Or you can buy one from another players. Battlefield is designed for players who already have some progress in pet breeding, so it will be hard for newbie to get there and to protect it.

Darn. I wasn't really looking to breed since gentics stuff is over my head.

Oh well, thanks I'm not sure I'll be sticking around anyway this games doesn't really seem like it's for me despite the pretty pets.
