This pet showed up as Spotted White on the map:
...so it was quite disappointing to find out that she's actually just black after going through the effort to capture her.
EDIT: Evidently it's supposed to work that way? All unicorns show up as white, etc, so I those are just default images? Never mind then. I had assumed that since it shows the species, it'd show the color accurately too. (That might be a good upgrade for lvl 2 cartographer...)
