I was wondering if it would be possible to be able to use CSS in the profile edit box at one point. That way on your profile page where the text would be you could make a box to shadow text or something. Similar to mweor cattery layouts, if any of you know what they look like.

It's a lot of work, and of course I'd like to see being done but I think there's priorities.  Support, but not for now.

I agree, it would take a while and it shouldn't be high priority, but just in general.

We already have the ability to use CSS. Just switch the editor to the HTML mode and you will be able to write HTML+CSS instead of using wisywig functions. Though you can write only inline CSS for security reason (like <div style="color:#d00;">), you can't create your own stylesheet (writing styles in <style></style> tag.) Editable field is restricted to the profile content area, you can't edit the styles of the whole page and change its the appearence.
