This report is regarding my pet Aria: http://beastkeeper.com/pet/117385

I was fighting with her in the battle arena yesterday when she leveled up. I keep a second tab open to monitor the progress. After the battle and recieving the information saying she leveled up, I refreshed the second tab showing her stats and I noticed her strength stat changed from black to red.

I inspected the cause of this and my pet has dystrophy gene and I wonder if that has anything to do with it. I was told by a friend that it shouldn't go red like that.

I'm not sure if this can be reproduced or fixed but I thought I'd bring this to your attention. Sorry for I cannot show you the stat before the change.

Firstly, your pet is GP1 which adds 10 to every stat.

Secodly, she has Dystrophy which reduces Strength and Agility by 25%.

When she had about 40 strength (30 base + 10 from GP) Dystrophy reduced it by 10, so GP bonus equaled the reduced amount and final value equaled base value > stat was black.

Now  she has 44 strength (34 base + 10 from GP) so Dystrophy reduces it by 11. As a result more is reduced than added with GP and final value is less than base, so the stat is red.

Hope this helps.

The only thing that surprised me is that the reduced value is a % of base+GP not just base stat value as I thought before ^^

So this means that there's nothing I can do to stop this decrease unless I can get rid of the dystrophy?

Yes, or if she gets a gene that would increase it by same amount or more ;) I wouldn't worry though - just focus on increasing her other stats more by adjusting her diet.
