here, I've put together a little size comparision chart, i don't own the art of course, but I thought it would be fun to do my first size comparision chart for some of the creatures on here, also could help with imagining how they'd look like XD

and remember, 'Roc' by mythology are big enough to carry off elephants (remember, we are not talking about normal birds or eagles!!!). Also Cockatrice, depite size should deal ALOT of damage since technically they turn people to stone with their gaze and have horrifyingly sharp beak, claws and teeth and could strike hard so size doesn't hugely matter to them since they already are pretty dangerous and could easily sneak up for the kill. (hence I had imagined they probably won't be too big)

as far as dragons go, i don't know what kind of dragon BK here uses, so i went for the basic ones and used as size comparison one. (normally being a fire person i'd use fire dragons as reference or air dragons)

and yes Gryphons would be big, almost  like hippogryphs and unicorns since if tamed well you can ride on gryphons.

...and yes I know i have it in my signature, LOL XD

I think Gryphons are meant to be smaller than hyppogriffs? http://kingdomofbeasts.weebly.com/griffins-and-hippogriffs.html

Though I think that's roughly the right size.. I'm not too sure. XD

Wow!! The dragon is so so big!! I'm thinking.. if I am only to the height of the unicorn... then I fit under that lifted claw of that dragon... 0_o

perhaps, wish there was a hippogryph in this game, i love them as well.

yeha, i'd say dragons should be pretty big, although I might have selected to use a somewhat younger dragon for this one. Though i daresay they may still be formidable opponents...

admittedly, now thinking about sizes, i feel so sorry for the puma and the unicorn when they have to fight a dragon, lol, but then the unicorn could use its horn and stab the dragon's foot...like a thorn in foot XD

meh, omg i seriously love mythology XD

Wow, how would a puma or a unicorn even deal damage to a dragon!?  Plus, I feel like if the dragon hits it it would like, cursh it or something.:P

yeah i know right? realistically/mythically speaking, i am wondeirng how in the world does a puma manage that, lol

I'd think the damage from a dragon would do more blow, whether puma is good or not maybe, lol

Your size shouldn't matter! Never let your size get in the way of anything.

:)

With that, it is probably why unicorns and pumas are so strong.

Well, a smaller size would allow for more ability to hide and either escaope or do a sneak attack.  Plus, you also have to allow the idea that the bigger hey are, the slower they tend to be by comparison.

Of course, dragons can come in a wider variety of sizes depending on species, place of origin, etc., so dragons (and I know that my best friend is going to hate all of this "dragon bashing") would need hollow ones to fly, where as pumas and unicorns have (barring genetic disorders, of course) more solid bones.  This would put smaller draons at a severe disadvantage.

(I just love cryptozoological debate… ♥)

Yeah i know, but at least dragons can take bigger strides but I doubt bigger dragons can go too fast, at least the smaller creature can dodge away faster If they didn't get a sneak attack, lol, at least you could hear a huge dragon coming.

i write monster stories and monsterology textbooks btw in my spare time, it's my favorite subject/topic

but eh, I have this odd feeling that the dragons on here aren't very small dragons...lol

If more people actually trained/bred dragons, that wpuld definetley be the best... But since no one does, unicorns are still #1! Woohoo. :)

Nice! Perhaps the Roc should be a bit bigger. I hear they are massive!! Nice placement of the symurgh, I would put it there too, just where I pictured it! :)

I'd actually think that a roc would be a bit smaller than a symurghs.

@Peace123

by mythology Rocs are big enough to carry off adult elephants as well as other creatures, so I don't think they would be that smaller...

^ Exactly!

Where would an elephant fit on this then? Are symurghs bigger than elephants? OMG they are massive... Well if you compare an elephant to a horse/unicorn.. huh...
