If you look at the image on the pet trades page, there are posters of pets in the back. There are ones we already have, like the puma and griffon. But if you look more, there are pets drawings on the papers that we haven't got, like a Manticore, a Fenrir, and some kind of big horned sheep.
Is this maybe a hint at future pets?

Actually it looks like a pegasus, manticore, some kind of wolf, some other winged quadruped (maybe a bad rendition of a cockatrice) & the slowpoke. I wouldn't mind more pets as long as they increase the stable space, I'm at level 4 & around 175 pets & I still haven't met my goals of having 1 of every color/species & all the power grades & a few DoH.
