I know "shopping the pound" is frowned upon, but I don't think it would hurt anything if you could sort the pound by species.

All this would do is let you go "Hmmm, I'd like to take home a Roc today!" then hit the "roc" dropdown to see nothing but rocs in the pound. This does not sort by stats, traits, levels, gender or anything else. It just allows you to filter things down to your favorite species of the moment.

I think it might help encourage adoption if this was added because you could focus on your favorite pets more easily. :) It also is not an unfair advantage because, again, it does not sort by anything more than species.

Support it all the way. Whenever I want to find a particular species, I can never find it because of a terrible jinxing curse x.x I would love this, if it was set in place. 

This would be a fabulous idea! Then I could reminisce on other pets of particular interest I glanced at previously when adopting from the pound vs. looking through multiple pages.
